Murdoch Mysteries series 4 kicks off production today

13 new episodes of the hit television series Murdoch Mysteries commences principal photography today. Murdoch Mysteries is a Shaftesbury Films production for CITY/Rogers in Canada, UKTV/Alibi in the UK, and distributed internationally by ITV (Granada International).

Maureen to receive Grant Allen Award for 2011

Just announced that Maureen will be the recipient of the 2011 Grant Allen Award for crime writing.
It’s for next year (August 13) and will be presented during the Scene of the Crime festival on Wolfe Island.

Murdoch backlist sold to Poland

Maureen accepted an offer today for all seven books in the Murdoch series. The books will be published by Oficynka Publishing House in Poland and she looks forward to having the series available for new readers in both Poland and their neighbour, The Czech Republic.

Season of Darkness is now available for advance order

The first novel in her new trilogy of books set in Shropshire UK and Birmingham UK, during WW2 1940, is now available for advance order. The series will begin to be published in March 2011 by Mcclelland and Stewart. She has spent three years researching the novels and they promise to both thrill, and move readers in a way that her fans will be familiar with from her previously published works.
